Seven outstanding buildings were honoured when the RIBA:Ibstock EM Awards for Architecture 2006 were presented by RIBA President elect Sunand Prasad at Nottingham Council House.
 
He praised a truly fantastic set of buildings and the East Midlands Awards scheme for the way it highlights how design impacts on people's lives. The winners were:
