A Recession Kit for Architects

10 December 2008

2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Venue:

Nottingham Trent University Clifton campus

Description:

Credit crunch, market gloom and a recession looming, can anything be done? Well possibly. Come and hear Tom Taylor's tips on how you might prepare to survive the stormy waters of these troubled times.

This course will explore some indicators. It will then move on to twenty or more tips from which to choose for Architects to assemble their own recession survival kit - just in case there might be a recession or a dip or a stutter or even a crash - at some time, sooner or later.

This seminar is for Architects who may not have been in this position before, or who can not remember clearly from the last time - and might like to consider some preparation and doing something about it.

There will be exercises. There will be debate. The intention is that you leave enthused to work up your kit to suit your needs, circumstances and aspirations.

A full set of notes will be provided.

Speaker: Tom Taylor of dashdot is a respected project manager, speaker, broadcaster and author. He has recently published "A Recession Survival Kit for SMCs - small and medium consultancies".
