2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Venue:
Clifton Campus Nottingham Trent University
Description:
Monitoring progress and managing time on projects
Following his well received event dedicated purely to Project Management we are pleased to welcome back Tom Taylor with this new topic which will have an architectural and construction focus. Tom, who is an experienced project manager, is still intrigued by the challenge of how to deliver stages and projects 'on time'.
This seminar will look at a range of techniques for managing progress on a hypothetical project which is on site.
By various combinations and analysis it will be possible to develop techniques which give a more accurate and rounded view of progress and prognosis.
This will be followed by practical exercises on what to do with the information, ie. managing time.
Delegates will leave with practical applications which they will be able to apply the following day, if they wish, to the benefit of themselves, their clients and their projects.
Speaker: Tom Taylor of "dashdot" and current Chairman of the Association for Project Management (APM)
