RIBA Awards for London

RIBA Awards| form, arguably, the most rigorously judged awards programme in the world, with every one of the 400 plus entries visited. The RIBA Awards are given for buildings that have high architectural standards and make a substantial contribution to the local environment. The awards are annual and have been running continuously since 1966.

The RIBA Awards London are given to buildings in the capital region that are of a high standard and demonstrate excellence. In terms of entries, it is the largest regional awards process and represents a vast range of projects from across the city in a variety of sectors.

On 20 May 2010 at a ceremony at St Martin-in-the the Fields, RIBA London announced the winners of the RIBA Awards for London 2010. Thirty awards were given out across four sectors: Arts & Leisure, Education & Community, Commercial & Industrial and Housing.

Three special RIBA London awards were also announced. Details of these and a full list of award winners is detailed below.
