The building is organised horizontally to reflect the three key functions: 'make' - the studios on the lower levels; 'shape' - production and editing on the middle floors and 'share' - the transmission platforms on the top floor.

The facades feature the natural ventilation chimneys, whereby the studios benefit from a natural ventilation system that is driven by waste heat from the studio lights.

The result is a factory for television that sets the international benchmark for sustainability in high-energy-use buildings and satisfies the client's carbon reduction commitments.
