Building of the Year Award

This is for the best building within London, chosen from amongst the year's RIBA Award winners.

Special Award

The Special Award is not awarded every year and goes to a scheme that has a certain something extra that the judges feel should be recognised.

The winner of the award, is a beautiful sculptural landscape piece, whose deceptive simplicity and clever use of materials combines richness and sturdiness with calmness and sleek tranquility. In the judges comments it was described as 'perfect'.

 

The jury will normally consist of the regional RIBA representative on each of the London award juries. The chair of the panel will be the Chair of RIBA London. The award is administered by RIBA London|.
