The RIBA London Building of the Year Award is presented to an outstanding scheme from the year's award winners. It is awarded to a building that demonstrates exceptional quality and distinction across all catagories.

The winner of the award in 2008, is a beautiful sculptural landscape piece, whose deceptive simplicity and clever use of materials combines richness and sturdiness with calmness and sleek tranquility. In the judges comments it was described as 'perfect'.
