RIBA London was a learning provider for NESTA's idiscover programme, encouraging young people to choose learning experiences which appealed to their interests. RIBA London offered creative sessions for key stage 3 & 4 students in south London schools (aged from 11 - 15).
Young people worked with architects and planners to respond to where they live. They tested design ideas through drawing and model-making and developed skills in problem solving.
The following workshops were offered:
-
Archi-Future - re-interpreting local spaces, experiments in 3D visions of the future.
-
Build Your Own Town - using the Building Futures game to work in teams and plan new community services.
