The UK's inland waterways are undergoing a remarkable renaissance. Waterways are increasingly recognised for the value they add to developments undertaken in their vicinity. The waterways renaissance encompasses all types of projects and developments. As well as innovative engineering schemes, exciting multi-use developments and sustainable environmental initiatives, local communities are also investing time and energy in their waterways and reaping the benefits by creating cleaner, safer public spaces.
