RIBA London programmes regular policy oriented discussions and debates in order to engage the membership and the public around key capital issues. Hosted at RIBA HQ, they are intended as forums for cross professional debate, enabling people to interrogate expertise and opinion, while enhancing the profile of the region.
In Autumn 2010, the region looked at design review, heritage and retrofit and social housing delivery. In Summer 2011, the region embedded policy thinking into a 'Reshaping London' series with partners Design for London that introduced new areas such as new rail infrastructure, Olympic park legacy strategies, the quality of public realm and the significance of meanwhile uses.
