RIBA Awards 2008
Wembley Stadium (right) by Foster and Partners is one of 70 schemes, shortlised for the RIBA Awards 2008|.
The list of shortlisted schemes includes Rich Mix Cultural Centre; Westminster Academy at the Naim Dangoor Centre; the Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art in Kew Gardens; and the Royal Observatory at Greenwich.
The RIBA Awards are given for buildings that have high architectural standards and make a substantial contribution to the local environment.
The announcement of the 2008 RIBA Award winners will be made on 29 May 2008 by RIBA London.
