BIM: the small practice perspective

20 September 2013

9:30 AM - 5:15 PM

Venue:

66 Portland Place, London W1B 1AD

Description:

What is BIM? How will it affect me? I am a sole practitioner/small practice, do I need to bother? How and how much do I need to change my way of thinking? How do I implement BIM?  How long will it take?  How much will it cost?  How does it affect PI/ copyright/ contractual agreements? Will my hardware be sufficient?

There is a large amount of information available on the subject of Building Information Modelling, but the information overload has caused fear amongst practitioners who are yet to consider BIM in their workplace.

The RIBA have sifted through this information and developed a one-day course to eqiup you with the practical knowledge needed to make a conscious decision as to whether BIM is right for your practice.

Please see the below flyer for further information and the day's schedule.
