Description:
The seminar will cover the affects of 19th century sewage disposal and 21st century water supply (drawing saline water from an area that would have been effected by the 19thC outfall). Includes a tour of Abbey Mills Pumping Station, a talk on the Great Stink in 1858 and a tour of the construction site of the desalinisation plant in Beckton.
