RIBA Awards

RIBA Awards are given for buildings that have high architectural standards and make a substantial contribution to the local environment. The awards are annual, and have been running continuously since 1966

 

RIBA North East Hadrian Awards

The Hadrian Awards celebrate and promote the best in Architecture and the Design of teh built environment in the North East and Cumbria.  Architecture and Design play a key part in the creation of a high quality environment and through this in the economic regeneration of this region and the improvement of the quality of life for everybody in the region.

RIBA North East Student Awards

Presented annually, these awards recognise the outstanding students of architecture from schools in the North East region.

All regional schools of architecture take part in the awards scheme. Students are put forward by their tutors. A different panel of judges is put together each year and usually comprises an academic from a school of architecture outside of the North East, a regional architect and the regional chairman.
