The Project is situated at Oaker Yards in Gateshead, and is centered on agricultural research in the context of the urban market place.

At the heart of the scheme was four central themes; Growing, Teaching, Sharing and Discovery.

The Scheme made an ambitious proposal impressing the judges with the idea to pedestrianise the High Level Bridge as a main link between Newcastle and Gateshead by putting back the railway infrastructure into the community.
