RIBA North West

Based in Liverpool City Centre, the North West team undertakes a wide portfolio of activities which include:

CPD North West: Chartered architects are required to maintain their professional competence throughout their careers. The CPD Unit organises a comprehensive range of events to help members meet those needs. In addition we work closely with allied professional institutes, including the Landscape Institute, Royal Town Planning Institute and Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. Together we have developed a number of pan-professional events. Find out more about CPD|.

Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice: The RIBA North West preparation course and examination are exemplars of Part III which is the final step for any aspiring architect to take into the practice of architecture. Conceived and administered here in the North West, this preparation course has enabled us over the years to build strong links between RIBA, architects in practice, and the North West Schools of Architecture. Together with the strength of the CPD unit this activity now reinforces the quality of the provision of training and support in professional practice.

North West Branches:  Our network of branches across the region provide a comprehensive range of events open to members and the public, and an impressive range of international speakers and home grown talent continue to inspire and inform.  Find out more about RIBA North West branches.|

Communication: A magazine our regional magazine exists to inform, amuse, educate and inspire our members, but at the same time encourage closer working relationships and provide a forum for discussion on hot issues affecting the built environment.  If you would like to receive a complimentary copy please email riba.northwest@inst.riba.org|
