The RIBA Awards programme champions and celebrates the best of British architecture. The RIBA has been giving awards for buildings since 1966. No matter the shape, size, budget or location, all RIBA Award winning-schemes set the standard for good, excellent and outstanding architecture all across the country.

The Regional Awards are judged and presented locally and culminate in the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize presented every autumn. The RIBA Awards reflect changes in architectural tastes, technology and aspirations, but their core is a commitment to the understanding and enjoyment of buildings and spaces, whilst they continually set and reward new standards in British architecture.

Online entry for the RIBA Awards 2014 will become available from Monday 9 December 2013. The closing date for the RIBA Awards 2014 is Friday 7 February 2014.

In 2013, Chetham's School of Music, M&S Cheshire Oaks, MMU Business School and St Silas CE Primary School all picked up RIBA National Awards. To see a full list of winners from 2013, including all RIBA Regional Award winners click here.
