The first of the 2013 'Pushing Boundaries' events takes place in Liverpool when Joe Morris of multi-award-wining practice Duggan Morris Architects will speak.

Celebrating innovation and creativity in the fields of architecture and design, the 'Pushing Boundaries' series aims to bring to the North West individuals who are helping to shape the future of architecture and the world around us.

Duggan Morris Architects was established in 2004 and is a highly ambitious design led practice delivering projects of varying scale across numerous sectors.

Completed projects include:

• Kings Grove, London - winner of the RIBA Stephen Lawrence Prize 2012
• 3A Hampstead Lane, London - winner of the RIBA Manser Medal 2011
• Old Bearhurst, East Sussex - winner of a RIBA South East Downland Award 2012
