29 June 2010
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Venue:
Sarum College, Salisbury
Description:
This seminar will provide awareness of the safety related problems that can arise on site. This is not just the safety of others and how accidents can be avoided, but also the issues that can affect you as an individual, such as your own health and safety.
The speaker will look at both new build and existing properties to include refurbishment and maintenance, and the not so obvious hazards which have been addressed over a variety of schemes.
The seminar will also consider risk assessments, their purpose and arising problems including the myths associated with them, with particular regard to the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007.
This session will be enhanced by case studies.
