11:45 AM - 1:45 PM
Sarum College, 19 The Close, Salisbury SP1 2EE
This seminar will aim to analyse the top ten tips (a list is available on the RIBA website) to ensure that architects are aware of their responsibilities at the design and construction stages. The tips include how design work should be critically assessed at an early stage, be reviewed and checked, how designers should seek to eliminate hazards and reduce risk and how particular consideration should be given to usability issues e.g. maintenance and repair.
Through a methodical analysis of these top tips, the speakers will aim to assist professionals by bringing together CDM-C and designer expertise and making other duty holders and participants aware of the challenges and benefits of this process.
