The RIBA has announced the buildings in the South Region that have been shortlisted for the RIBA Awards in 2011. In the region, which covers Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Oxfordshire, 35 buildings designed by chartered architects were entered for the Awards. Of the entries, 12 were shortlisted following visits by members of the shortlisting panel. Those buildings were:

The winners of the RIBA Awards 2011 will be announced on 19 May. All RIBA Award winners will be eligible for consideration for the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize and for a number of Special Awards.
