This new contemporary destination restaurant is a part of Terry Farrell's Folkestone masterplan and forms the focal point of the 2011 Folkestone Triennial, which entailed a strict 18 month programme.
Three curved walls are clad in shot-blasted black larch; a slate plinth raises the building; large glass sliding doors allow uninterrupted panoramic views of the harbour; a cantilevered balcony, with glass balustrade and curved zinc soffit, creates an extension of the internal dining area.
