Donald’s project looked at health and wellbeing in the cities of the future. ‘Diseases will shape the urban fabric just as much as the new technologies that will help them to function’ says Donald. His design for technologically-sophisticated living units in London includes provision for vast bat colonies that would eat disease-carrying insects.
