The CPD Series has been created to assist members in meeting their training requirements by providing a structured programme of seminars tailored to meet the needs of the architect and other construction professionals. In addition to the main programme, additional events will be organised as important and relevant issues arise. The current annual subscription of £210 equates to a fee of just £35 for each half-day seminar giving exceptional value for money in the current training and development marketplace. Continuous professional development
CPD is about maintaining professionalism and competence and enhancing career development, business potential and a sense of personal satisfaction. CPD is for consumer protection and is also a way of ensuring that professionals keep up-to-date with their rapidly changing industry. CPD ought to enhance current and future development professionally, personally and business-wise. From 2004 individual RIBA members have been required to submit relevant CPD records and documentation when requested to demonstrate that they have met the minimum requirements of 100 points and 35 hours per year. Further additional changes are being introduced from January 2006 requiring at least 50% of members' CPD to come from a set curriculum. The CPD Series 2008 programme provides seminars to help you achieve this requirement.
CPD Series membership
Membership is open to all construction professionals within the South region. Membership runs for a twelve-month period that may commence at any time in the year.
