RIBA Sandcastle Challenge - Margate 2013

The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) is holding a Sandcastle Challenge on Saturday 29 June 2013.

Registration is free and starts at 10am.

Bring family, friends, colleagues or anyone you know with buckets and spades for a fun day on the beach!

Are you up for the challenge?

Whether you are a budding young sandcastle designer or someone with a little more experience and whether you form a team or fly solo, this will be your chance to show off your skills.

Prize categories will include:

• Tallest sand structure (Betteridge & Milsom Prize)
• Most technically daring (Hornby Prize)
• Life's a Beach (Joss Bay Surf School Prize)
• Curiosity (Turner Contemporary Prize)
• Mayor's prize

Judging will start from 2.30pm – winners to be announced at 3pm.
