Royal Victoria Place shopping mall, Tunbridge Wells
So Create A Difference is the local architects' exhibition and workshop will be the opportunity to tell Tunbridge Wells how YOU imagine the town's future.
The new year gives us all an opportunity to take a fresh look at where we live. A group of architects is going one step further - urging us all to imagine the ideal future for Tunbridge Wells. At the end of January around 15 local architects will put on show their ideas for transforming the town centre. They will run a drop-in centre and worksho alongside the exhibition of ideas.
So Create a Difference will be held in Royal Victoria Place - exact location to be confirmed - over several days before and after the drop-in event on Saturday 26 January. The architects' and the public's visualisations and views will be turned into a book and presented to senior staff and Councillors at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council during the Spring.
So Create A Difference is the idea of architects Stuart Page of Langton Green and James Galpin, Partner in Hazle McCormack Young in Tunbridge Wells.
It is funded by the RIBA West Kent Branch, which represents around 300 members; and by the RIBA Local Initiative Fund.
