Carl Turner trained at the RCA in London and still regards himself as a 'maker'.
He has worked at many practices, including Foster and Partners and Penoyre & Prasad. He founded Carl Turner Architects in 2006: the practice has established a reputation for high impact, low cost buildings.
Carl Turner's Slip House in Brixton was the winner of the 2013 Manser Medal.
