An informative workshop exploring the options and costs for reducing carbon emissions from existing housing.

This half day workshop is intended to introduce architects to the options available for improving the efficiency of existing houses. It is a repeat of the afternoon's workshop in the recent popular EST one day event 'Achieving Low Carbon Housing'.

 

The afternoon will cover:

• the options for low carbon refurbishment
• a workshop in which delegates, working in groups, will test packages of measures with different capital costs
• the afternoon concludes with a talk illustrating the ways people have sought to insulate existing houses to standards well ahead of current Best Practice.
