Design and Access Statements are now an important recommendation for applications seeking building regulations approval. This seminar will answer many questions on this topic, including:

What are Design and Access Statements, when should they be used, and what should they contain?

How can they be used in conjunction with guidance such as the Approved Document to Part M (2004) and BS8300 to achieve accessibility and inclusion for all users, whilst maximising the opportunities for creativity and design freedom?
