21 October 2009

2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

  • What is a party wall
  • Where the statute applies to building works
  • How to serve valid notices
  • What should be in an award
  • What jurisdiction party wall surveyors have
  • Why appoint a third surveyor
  • Implications for designers with regard to the Act
  • How to reduce risk in relation to the Act
  • Other issues to consider:- easements, access rights, windows on boundaries
