A case study on the first five years in the life of a new office; beginning in good times and growing quickly to nearly thirty staff followed by tough times and managing to keep our noses above more turbulent waters. Supported by a large practice, yet having to bring value to a global business, it has been a fascinating journey.
Successes have been in the field of Education, Frameworks and in the remodelling existing buildings. Challenges have been the withdrawal of government funding, a vastly more competitive market place. Opportunities have come in the form of overseas commissions and new markets.
We will share a front row seat on the roller coaster of beginning a new office in a new city and reinventing it for a new economic reality, whilst producing innovative architecture, in places you would not expect.
