Description:

Chaired by Philip Waddy, Partner, West Waddy ADP, this half-day event on Building Information Modeling (BIM) will enable attendees to discover the pros and cons of BIM adoption. The event will: 

  • define what BIM is and what impact it has had on the profession
  • demonstrate the advantages BIM can offer the small practice through a workflow case study
  • advise delegates on the best ways to implement BIM and the pitfalls to avoid during adoption
  • allow attendees to discover how BIM can benefit the whole design team when it is used collaboratively
  • provide delegates with an opportunity to use BIM software for themselves
