29 January 2013
2:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Venue:
Wolfson College, Oxford
Description:
As part of its commitment to reducing the burden of regulation, the government will be introducing a further set of changes to the Building Regulations in 2013.
We know that there will be changes to Part L, with a further 25% reduction in emission levels for dwellings, as well as changes to ensure 'as-built' performance more closely matches the design performance, but the government is looking at revisions to Parts A, C, D, E, K, L, M and N, as well as examining the effectiveness of Part P (Electrical safety). The government is also looking at how the building control system operates.
This seminar will outline the most significant changes of the regulations and evaluate their impact on design and on the current compliance process.
