Downland PrizeThe Downland Prize has been awarded every year since 1998 to an architect based in RIBA South East or RIBA South regions, whose project with a total cost of £1million, best demonstrates the benefits of using an architect’s services.

Twenty-six projects have been shortlisted |for the Downland Prize 2009.

The winners of the Downland Prize 2009 will be announced on 22 September at a reception for all shortlisted architects and their clients at RIBA Headquarters|.

The main sponsor of the Downland Prize is Ibstock Brick|; and sponsoring a Category Award is The Rooflight Company|.

An exhibition of winning and shortlisted buildings is available for loan.
