After removing an existing conservatory to an unassuming seaside bungalow, a contemporary solution was proposed.

 

Its south-facing aspect and confined site was used to create a 'bijou' garden room to harmonise with the external landscaping.

 

The remodelled interior creates a fluid transition between the internal living space and external environment and focuses the owner towards the garden. The design responds to its coastal location, with the use of water, galvanizing and timber boarding.

 

A selective palette of high-quality materials was used throughout the project, to develop a unified language between building and garden.
