RIBA South East administers the RIBA Awards for buildings in Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex and Guernsey. In 2008 there were three RIBA Award winners|, of which one received an RIBA National Award. The winners of the 2009 RIBA Awards will be announced on 21 May.

The Downland Prize| is for architects based in RIBA South or South East Regions, for projects anywhere in the UK with total cost of under £1million. The sponsors of the Downland Prize are: Ibstock Brick|, the main sponsor; and the Rooflight Company|, sponsor of a Category Award.
