The winners of the RIBA Awards 2009 were announced on 21 May. In the RIBA South East Region, these were:

Downland Prize 2009

Downland Prize

Members in RIBA South and RIBA South East Regions are invited to enter to the Downland Prize 2009 are invited - the deadline is 4 June 2009.

The main sponsor of the Downland Prize is Ibstock Brick|; and the The Rooflight Company  |is sponsoring a Category Award. Winners will be announced on 22 September 2009.

 

Celebration of architecture in the South East 
Last year, we ran architecture08|, the celebration of architecture across the South East with the Solent Centre for Architecture + Design |(SCA+D) on behalf of Arts Council England, South East|. This year, we are running with SCA+D the south east Festival of Architecture| - around 80 tours by architects, talks, exhibitions and happenings.
