This afternoon seminar will look at the issues of new technologies, building methods and appropriate designs for new buildings and the upgrade of existing. It will include the following:  

  • General introduction to the issues regarding

    sustainability and Zero Carbon strategies

  • Common sense strategies
  • Flagship projects: setting new benchmarks
  • Codes and Standards, and renewable options
  • Costs and value
  • Refurbishment and regeneration
  • Current obstacles, future strategies and new 

    technologies

  • Possible further developments

an Inspire East Design Review Panel member and Director of Kirkland Fraser Moor Associates, specialising is sustainable solutions; Neville Rye and Anthony Davies ofWSP Buildings Ltd, a company who offers practical and commercial advice that addresses environment related business issues.
