The event will aim to look at Residential and Domestic as well as Commercial and Industrial sprinkler systems.
The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.
Speaker: Steve Mills, Fire Safety Policy Team, West Midlands Fire Service. Steve joined West Midlands Fire Service in July 1983. Since then he has worked in various Training, Recruitment and Specialist Fire Safety roles. He was involved, among other things, in the promotion of fire suppression systems, primarily in community housing projects, schools and heritage buildings. To date he has overseen the fitting of 17 full systems within the West Midlands Fire Service area, including a 68 bed residence for adults in the community. Steve has also worked on the CFOA Automatic Water Suppression Systems group and was recently seconded to the Water Liaison Group of the National Fire Sprinkler Network. He is an active and enthusiastic supporter for measures to reduce fire loss to life, property and the environment.
