Venue:

Description:

As the Localism Bill makes its final passage through Parliament, it is important for architects to understand how their role will change under the new approach to planning, highlighting the crucial role that they have to play in helping communities to understand the potential of their local built environment and prepare neighbourhood plans.

This event takes a look at the following aspects from a regional and local perspective:

  • The strategic purpose of the reforms
  • The key changes that this will mean for the Planning system.
  • The impact this is likely to have on Architects and fellow professionals across the sector
  • The emphasis on community planning and community engagement and the role Architects can play here
