22 January 2009
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Venue:
The Old Joint Stock Theatre, Temple Row West, Birmingham, B3 5NY
Description:
The BAA welcomes Dermot Boyd and Peter Cody of Boyd Cody Architects. They will be speaking on what inspires them and how their practice captures, nurtures and develops this through the design process.
The two directors studied together and graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology in 1990, after which they both spent time living and working in Europe and the United States. This gave them a broad and varied base of valuable academic and professional experience from which to draw their inspiration.
The vision of the practice is one of contemporary architectural and cultural culture, with each project being viewed as a way of exploring and realising the full design and urban potential.
