In collaboration with RIBA West Midlands and B&FCAA, the Birmingham Architectural Association is launching its brand new Walking Architecture smartphone app, designed by Birmingham-based digital media and design agency Substrakt. You are invited to come along to this free launch event for a beer & a bap, good company and a chance to try out the new app.

About BAApp: Walking Architecture

The BAApp is an interactive mapping app that allows you to experience the best of Birmingham's architecture in real time. Whether you are an architect, a visitor to Birmingham or just simply interested in the fantastic buildings that make Birmingham what it is, Walking Architecture is the first app to unveil the stories and people behind the city as you go along.

With the BAApp you can:

  • Browse a library of regularly updated Birmingham buildings, containing a brief summary and other useful facts
  • Find out about Birmingham buildings as you are walking the city
  • Use our regularly updated walking tours of Birmingham to visit a collection of buildings and read about their background
  • Access all the information via the Walking Architecture website

The Birmingham Walking Architecture BAApp is brought to you by the Birmingham Architectural Association (BAA), in conjunction with RIBA West Midlands and the Birmingham & Five Counties Architectural Association (BFCAA).
