About the region

RIBA Yorkshire covers the largest county in the country, with diverse landscape ranging from the East Yorkshire coastline and Humber estuary to the Yorkshire Dales and Moors. The region incorporates the cities of Leeds, Bradford, York, Hull and Sheffield, as well as many smaller market towns and villages. The region stretches from Sheffield to just south of Middlesbrough and from the east coast to the border with Lancashire and Cumbria.

RIBA Yorkshire is housed in the Green Sand Foundry, a beautiful restored industrial building in Holbeck Urban Village, Leeds. We share the premises with several other organisations, including the Sustainable Futures Company (SFCo) Yorkshire and Humber, Envirowise, the Carbon Trust and the following:
