RIBA Yorkshire is involved in a number of annual awards programmes. You can find out more about each by clicking on the links below.
The RIBA regional offices adminster the receipt of entries, the shortlisting and the judging of buildings located in their region which are submitted to the annual RIBA Awards programme. Judges select winners of both national and regional RIBA Awards as part of this process.
RIBA Regional Awards
Previously known as the White Rose Awards in Yorkshire region, regional awards are given to buildings in each of the RIBA regions. The are judged at the same time as the national RIBA Awards.
RIBA Yorkshire Student Awards
The four RIBA accredited schools of architecture in the Yorkshire region submit entries from their Part I and Part II Architecture students to these annual awards. The schools are at the University of Sheffield, Leeds Metropolitan University, The University of Huddersfield and Sheffield Hallam University.
Sheffield Design Awards
These awards are delivered every other year in partnership with Sheffield Civic Trust. Buildings within the Sheffield city boundary are eligible for entry. The People's Choice Award is decided by the people of Sheffield through an online vote.
