Conservation CPD: Traditional Building Materials

To compliment the RIBA Conservation Course we have developed a series of half day CPD seminars| to develop your learning objectives. In 2013 the focus will be on the conservation and repair of traditional building materials:

Stonework: repair, conservation and cleaning of historic stonework

Brickwork: conservation of old brickwork

Timber: repair and conservation of timber framed structures in historic buildings

Heritage Ironwork: techniques of repair and replication

The principles and methods behind the conservation, repair and cleaning of stone buildings.

The Use Of Lime In Traditional And Historic Buildings|

The many aspects and uses of lime in building work, especially to old and historic buildings. It will cover repair, conservation, renewal and new work.
