2.00pm - 5.00pm
Venue:
The Cedar Court Hotel, Mayo Avenue, Rooley Lane, Bradford, BD5 8HW
Description:
Architecture and urban design have found a new correspondence in the present need to make towns and cities that are convenient, compact, memorable and sustainable. The architect and the urban designer have complementary roles to play, and each needs to understand and appreciate the other's role.
This seminar provides for architects a comprehensive overview of the objectives, disciplines, processes and methods of urban design, enabling a better understanding of what it aims to achieve and how architects can contribute to this.
