Description:
Climate change is the biggest environmental problem we face today and sustainable construction is becoming a fundamental approach to architectural design rather than merely an alternative. This seminar is planned to highlight the implications of environmental issues on design and construction, keep you abreast of new developments and bring you up to date on legislation.
The event will take place at ARC, the 2006 RIBA Award winning building by Niall McLaughlin which houses Hull's architecture centre. It is an exemplar for sustainable design which was also shortlisted for the RIBA Sustainability Award in 2006.
