About RSAW

RSAW supports local members and promotes excellence in architecture.

Led by our elected honorary officers, our priorities for the year are set by the RSAW Council of members.

Local activities in Wales are co-ordinated by four branches|, while all-Wales activities are administered by a small team of full-time staff based in Cardiff.

The activities of the RSAW include:

  • liaison with the Welsh Assembly Government, local authorities, public agencies and the voluntary sector
  • the Clients Service (free information to the public on selecting and working with architects)
  • annual RIBA Awards programme in Wales
  • annual Conference and Spring School
  • publication of Touchstone - the magazine for architecture in Wales
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) - delivered through the RSAW office and local branches
