Future Homes Commission launch event

At a successful reception held in the Senedd, Roger Graef OBE of the Future Homes Commission, presented the findings of their groundbreaking report Building the homes and communities Britain needs outlining how 300,000 desperately needed extra homes could be built in the UK every year without an extra penny of government spending or debt, while ensuring a high quality of design.

The event, hosted by RSAW and sponsored by the Minister for Housing, Regenration and Heritage, Huw Lewis AM, was well attended by RSAW Members, Assembly Members, civil servants and colleagues from associated professions. The government has committed to looking into the feasibility of taking forward a number of the Commission's proposals and RSAW's recommendations.
