23 March 2013 - 04 May 2013
Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, SY23 3DE
The Mid Wales Branch of the Royal Society of Architects joined forces with Aberystwyth Arts Centre in 2012 in a partnership to celebrate the architectural creativity, ideas and energy of the mid-Wales area. The result is a vibrant six-week programme of exhibitions, workshops, films and discussion forums with the aim of getting people to talk about “the power and pleasures of well-considered buildings and places”.
The Branch extends a warm welcome to all members and invites you to join the Festival launch on Saturday 23 March, 6pm, Aberystwyth Arts Centre. Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas hosts an “evening of ideas” with contributors Michael Trainor, curator of Bathing Beauties exhibition and Owen Hatherley, author of A guide to the new ruins of Great Britain.
Most events are free of charge; please contact the office for details.
