The Royal Institute of British Architects was founded in 1834 for the advancement of architecture. It does not receive any government funding but relies on Members, sponsors and our own charitable trading operations to make its work possible and increase access to and protect its world class collections and knowledge.
The RIBA's extensive program of awards, education, exhibitions, talks and lectures offers many sponsorship opportunities. The RIBA brand profile gives unparalleled access to sponsors who wish to reach architects, the wider construction industry, government departments, public agencies as well as a design conscious public, both nationally and internationally.
Supporting the RIBA means an association with a Business Superbrand. The RIBA is the only professional institute to feature in the Top 500 business superbrands (featuring at No 244, ahead of Alliance Boots, ING and IBM) and was selected from strict independent judging criteria which looked at quality, reliability and distinction of a number of leading brands.
